Your right to withdraw

You have 14 days after your candles arrive to cancel, for any reason or none at all.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods in one order and they are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after you, or the third party indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last good.

For a candle subscription (once offered), the period expires 14 days after you receive the first delivery.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([legal name], trading as Smells 'n Burns, [address], info@smellsnburns.nl, [phone]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement. You can do this in any of the following ways:

1. Online, with our withdrawal function. Use the "Withdraw from contract here" button, which is available on our website throughout the withdrawal period and is linked from your order confirmation email. Enter or confirm your name, your order number and the email address where you want to receive confirmation, then click "Confirm withdrawal". We will immediately send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email, stating the content of your withdrawal and the date and time you submitted it.
2. By email to info@smellsnburns.nl, stating your name, your order number and that you wish to withdraw.
3. With the model withdrawal form below. You may use it, but it is not obligatory.

If you withdraw by email or with the form, we will also confirm receipt of your withdrawal by email without delay.

Effects of withdrawal

Send the candles back within 14 days and we refund everything you paid, including standard shipping. Return postage is on you.

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods to us at [address] without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In practice: unpacking a candle, looking at it and smelling it is fine; lighting it is not, and a burned candle may be refunded only in part or not at all, depending on the loss of value.
